Airbus and Boeing already dominate the competitive airline industry. Duopoli owns heaven, accounting for 99% of global large aircraft orders, and these large aircraft orders account for more than 90% of the total aircraft market, according to the Teal Group for the aerospace market analysis (regional jet manufacturers account for only 7% of the value of the aircraft market).
Duopol does not have many competitors, but foreign competition is brewing. The Chinese state-owned company COMAC is ready to make waves in the aviation industry, but some say not a few decades.
So Airbus and Boeing took over the production of aircraft.
