After a long overnight flight from Rio De Janeiro (without a window seat unfortunately) I had a brief 2 hour layover in Frankfurt before the final leg of my journey onward to London Heathrow. This was my first flight on one of the new generation A320Neo aircraft and I was lucky enough to have the entire row at row 30 to myself. This aircraft was in fact the first A320Neo in service worldwide! Having said that, still looking very new & clean inside, even though its almost 2 years old now. Some impressive views throughout the flight, particularly during the approach into Heathrow & over the City Of London. Look out for all the landmarks, Big Ben, London Eye, The Shard, Wembley Stadium and much more!

So there you have it. My first flight on a A320Neo, over all very good. Some very small toilets on them though. And compared to other aircraft, some strange sounds. But a very nice service by Lufthansa.
Check out the Delta 767-400, seen arriving after us at Heathrow. I thought this was a strange time to see a Delta flight arriving in London (early evening). So I looked it up and it turns out the aircraft was diverted enroute from Paris CDG to Atlanta. The reason for this flights divert wasn’t known.
Thanks for watching
