As part of the expansion of its network in the Oceania region, Philippine Airlines launched flights from Manila to Auckland via Cairns (Australia).
Today was the inaugural flight into Auckland Airport. It’s also the first time PAL operates to NZ, hence the water salute.
They will operate four flights weekly (Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays) to serve the Manila-Cairns-Auckland route, utilizing the 156-seater Airbus A320.

  4. Great catch of the PAL first flight to Auckland! I am surprised PAL is using the A320, its quite a long way down! Cebu Airlines use A330 to fly to Sydney.
