Incident with the A380 over Batam – an air accident that occurred on November 4, 2010. Airliner Airbus A380-842 of Qantas performed an intercontinental flight QF32 on the route London-Singapore-Sydney, but 5 minutes after the departure from Singapore, he suddenly exploded engine number 2 on the left wing (its wreckage crashed on the Indonesian island of Batam, over which flew an airplane ). The crew turned the plane back to Singapore and he landed safely at the local airport. None of the 469 people on board (440 passengers and 29 crew members) were injured.
This is the first incident with the Airbus A380.
