Airbus came on september 20 and 21, 2006 at Brest Bretagne Airport to perform crosswind landing test on Rwy 25L. The prototype Falcon 7X also came in. Here is the wind on those days : 180° 25G45KT (full crosswind !!). What an unbelievable feeling when I saw this big bird on our regional airport. Thanks so much Airbus for all those tests at Brest !!! Great show !

  2. Gotta tell you with this kinda wind we just let go of the dock, float to the middle of the lake under power and in very short order we're airborne.  Now the landing …cross wind…we're going somewhere else. Nose on we can almost land at the dock with windspeed 45-50kts. Love this plane…love your video.Welldone you!

  4. @jaypek43 – L means long. The runsways with L are long runways, all airports have long run ways for the larger planes. The side that isn't lit is were the planes land, while the oppsite side were is there planes take off.
