  1. airplanes hurt the environment badly. Every flight uses tons of fuel. Just imagine how many flights take place every day in the world, year after year, and what they do to the environment!

  2. The fact that the flight was near empty was not due to a pilot strike. It is because people are not that interested in going to china anymore. I think a much smaller plane is in order for a trip like is as Lufthansa is just wasting money on flying this massive plane to places without much traffic.

  3. The timing and the daylight is confusing me, you landed like 6 pm which is dark, then you get on the train at late daybreak close to sunset, can u clarify if you got on the train early the morning after the landing or what or did you spend the night on the train?

  4. This might need a correction: "Take Off from Runway 34L; length 3,800ft / 12,467m" – one meter is quite longer than one foot.

  5. Will be flying a Lufthansa A380 from Hong Kong to Frankfurt on my return leg in just over a month's time. Is it really that quiet? The only previous long-haul flight I have done before was a Continental 757 from Heathrow to Newark. That was noisy!

  6. Why would lufthansa operate such a large aircraft between these locations if there is not enough customer demand to fill even half the seats. Why not operate an a330 or a340? Im just curious.
