About Rostock-Laage Airport:
Rostock-Laage airport (IATA: RLG, ICAO: ETNL) is the largest transport airport in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The facility, which has been set up as a location for the Bundeswehr, has been used by Flughafen Rostock-Laage GmbH as a civilian regional airport since 1993. Of the total area of 1,000 hectares, around 60 hectares are planned for the civilian area. To this day, this military-civilian cooperation in air traffic in Germany is unique. Due to its ideal geographic location, the regional airport is becoming more and more an attractive entry point for Baltic tourists and business travelers. Geographically Rostock also offers itself as a logistics hub, among other things, to Scandinavia, the Baltic States and Southern and Eastern Europe. With its 24-hour operating permit, the airport can now be flown and handled from cargo aircraft to jumbo around the clock in any weather.
