Korean Air Lines Co., Ltd., operating as Korean Air, is the largest airline in South Korea based on fleet size, international destinations and international flights. The airline’s global headquarters are located in Seoul, South Korea.
Korean Air’s international passenger division and related subsidiary cargo division together serve 127 cities in 44 countries, while its domestic division serves 12 destinations. It is among the top 20 airlines in the world in terms of passengers carried and is also the top-ranked international cargo airline. Incheon International Airport serves as Korean Air’s international hub. Korean Air also maintains a satellite headquarters campus at Incheon.
Korean Air was originally founded as the Korean National Airlines in 1946. After several years of service and expansion, the airline was fully privatized in 1969 and commenced operations on the 1st of March 1969. The airline celebrated its 45th anniversary in 2014. The majority of Korean Air’s pilots, ground staff, and flight attendants are based in Seoul.
Korean Air is the parent company of Jin Air and is a founding member of SkyTeam. The alliance has since become the second largest alliance in the world, behind Star Alliance. It was voted Asia’s best airline by Business Traveler readers in 2012.
Prestige Class seats include “Prestige Sleeper” seats on all Boeing 777-300ERs and Airbus A380s, as well as 777-200ER aircraft that feature “Kosmo Suites” seats; “Prestige Plus” seats on most of the Boeing 777-200ER fleet, most of the Boeing 747-400 fleet, and one Boeing 777-300; and “old Prestige Class” seats. “Prestige Sleeper” seats recline to 180 degrees, while “Prestige Plus” seats recline up to 172 degrees. “Old Prestige Class” seats recline up to only 138 degrees, although these seats are being phased out except for on Boeing 737 aircraft.

The Boeing 747-8 is a wide-body jet airliner developed by Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Officially announced in 2005, the 747-8 is the third generation of the 747, with lengthened fuselage, redesigned wings, and improved efficiency. The 747-8 is the largest 747 version, the largest commercial aircraft built in the United States, and the longest passenger aircraft in the world.
The 747-8 is offered in two main variants: the 747-8 Intercontinental (747-8I) for passengers and the 747-8 Freighter (747-8F) for cargo. The first 747-8F performed the model’s maiden flight on February 8, 2010, with the 747-8 Intercontinental following on March 20, 2011. Delivery of the first freighter aircraft occurred in October 2011 and the passenger model began deliveries in 2012. As of January 2016, confirmed orders for the 747-8 total 121, comprising 70 of the freighter version, and 51 of the passenger version.

    Thats why i love the 747-8!
    Too bad most of the time I couldnt hear the GEnx-2B go on full power thrust though..

  3. No muscle car sounds like this!! The 747-400 and Her genuine short takeoffs fully loaded may disappear, but this new Queen… I will fly on her someday?

  4. Why does the 747-8 sound so much louder than the 787? They have the same engines… do 2 more engines make that much of a difference? (Not gonna lie I love the roar of the 747-8)
