  1. …Oldest Airline IN Europe….SABENA…..They used to come to Montreal Long time ago…..Then….They stopped……And no more…

  2. I flew the SN 747 on more than one occasion from JFK to Bruxelles.  First-business-economy—and it was always a fantastic experience.  It's a shame that Sabena, like Pan Am, no longer fly the friendly skies.  Certainly it was a much nicer experience than it is today.  Service was the key word for all the airlines; today, it's airline profits that drive the flying world.  Shame

  3. The opening sequence with the speaker placed at a distance to exaggerate the 747's size (but not so much as to not give it immediately away) was a well played marketing trick. Love those old videos. Thanks for posting.

  4. Classic JT9s with the blow-in doors. The Flemish speakers are certainly getting the shaft in this video. I wonder if Sabena made a version of this video for them.

  5. They used Isaac Hayes' theme from shaft? Wow, thanks for sharing! The music definitely puts an edge to the style back in the 70s.
