The Princess Juliana International Airport is located on the tropical island of Saint Martin on the Dutch side and is the second largest airport in the Caribbean. It was baptized thanks to the then heiress princess Juliana of the Netherlands. It is considered one of the most difficult approaches in the world, where airplanes pass over the Maho Beach within 10 meters of the bathers for the landing procedure. At the time of take-offs made by head 10, bathers are "thrown" to the sea with great force, especially by large airplanes (Boeing 747 and Airbus A340). However, even with the daily traffic of these airplanes, there are only 2 accidents in the years 1970 and 1972.
