Boeing has unveiled the first BBJ 787 with a fully customized interior at the European Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition in Geneva, Switzerland.
The interior of the BBJ 787, owned by an undisclosed customer, was completed by Greenpoint Technologies and will enter into service later this year.
“The BBJ 787 is an extraordinary airplane,” said David Longridge, Boeing Business Jets president. “The airplane really enables our customers to travel anywhere in the world in unmatched comfort.”
The technological advancements and operating economics of the BBJ 787 set the airplane apart from its nearest competitor in the business jet market.
Boeing Business Jets is also celebrating its 20th anniversary this year in conjunction with Boeing’s 100 year anniversary.
In 1996 began by setting up a formal business jets organization and selling a customized 737. Now, 20 years later, BBJ sells every commercial airplane Boeing offers.
