A passenger on an Etihad Airways plane which was struck by extreme turbulence more than WA feared she the aircraft would “drop out of the sky” as it shook violently just minutes soon after having off.
Wendy was on the Abu Dhabi-sure Boeing 787-nine when it was pressured to return to Perth Airport soon after dealing with turbulence 8534m more than Cervantes previous evening.
She told Radio 6PR passengers had been about to be served their foods when the shaking appeared to acquire both air attendants and passengers by shock.
“It was the scariest thing I’ve at any time encountered in my lifetime. It was like one of people horror motion pictures, I assumed I was essentially heading to die,” she told Early morning Exhibit host Gareth Parker.
