*First detailed review of Vietnam Airlines Boeing 787 Dreamliner in Long Haul on youtube!* We fly on Vietnam Airlines, Business Class, from Singapore to London! This video is Part 1, of the leg from Ho Chi Minh to London Heathrow. Our plane bound for London was an almost brand new Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft featuring Vietnam Airline’s newest premium product, the reverse herringbone 1-2-1 seating in Business Class. As you will see, this was an industry-leading product, every seat had aisle access and the feel was very private indeed. Awesome!

In this video, I show you the boarding. Even though we were tired (earlier flight from Singapore to Ho Chi Minh, followed by a 6 hour layover in the Lotus Lounge), we were still very excited to get on board! We boarded early (at the first call for Business class passengers) and quickly settled into our seats. A welcome drink was served (I took champagne), newspapers were handed out. I also take a look at the amenity kit, which came in a very nice bag. After take-off, the cabin crew came to take our orders for dinner, and dinner was served! I show you the dinner I had, which was pretty good.

In part 2 ( we take a closer look at Bed and Breakfast on board Vietnam Airlines, before arriving in London Heathrow. It was a very good flight indeed!

  1. why would anyone want to fly to Vietnam. Maybe im prejudice however I dont want to fly to a Communist County that killed 58,000 people

  2. By the way, Hanoi pho is okay although, it origin is from North Vietnam. Vietnamese pho beef rice noodle soup in America is number 1, and then beef pho in Saigon city is good in Vietnam, not Hanoi's pho simply because it's boring and bland, because they don't have herbs, bean sprouts, sriacha and hoisin sauce…

  3. oh how I love the Red River cocktail. I had it on flight from Kuala Lumpur to Hanoi. The main dish is called "cơm tấm" or broken rice, a very popular dish in Vietnam. Did you enjoy the seats? I really love these seats on VN's B787.
