We’re making videos around the country, and you can follow our adventures at

This video is the first in what I hope to be a series of aerial videos of different cities around the world. This video was shot during the month of November, over several shooting days.

It features Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, the Raven’s M&T Bank Stadium, Oriole Park at Camden Yards, National Aquarium, the Baltimore Convention Center, Federal Hill, Fells Points, The Pride of Baltimore memorial, The Pride of Baltimore II, Patterson Park, Penn Station, Power Plant, and more.

Since annotations don’t work on mobile devices, here are links to the related videos linked at the end:

To film this I used a DJI Phantom 2 quadcopter, with a GoPro Hero4 mounted on a Zenmuse H3-3D gimbal. I hope to eventually upgrade to a higher-end system, but you work with what you’ve got…and it’s still incredible the types of shots achievable with such a small piece of equipment!

The music used in this piece is My Elegant Redemption by Tim McMorris. He has a lot of awesome music! You should check him out.

I thoroughly enjoyed making this, and if you enjoyed watching it, please share with your friends! And if you’d like to see more videos like this, please subscribe.

  1. Charm City pride! I've been here six years and love this place. Thank you for highlighting Baltimore's most iconic spots and the most positive light. We need more individuals with your talent and creative spirit!

  2. Loved it. Got a Mavic myself and understand how many hours of footage you need to pull out that many great shots. Well done. Here in Australia we're not allowed to fly drones at night. How do you get around that in the US. I thought the FAA would be at least as strict as out Civil Aviation Safety Authority in AUS….. Just curious. Love your work.

  3. Hey, I'm heading into Baltimore tomorrow and was planning to film with my phantom if I have time. Is there an email I can contact you at? I had a few questions

  4. wow, no heroin zombies, floating harbor trash, gun shots, or scantily clad obese beasts selling their prescriptions in front of Lexington Mkt. Just impressive, beautiful footage.

  5. What's up! how's it going? I'm working on a music vid for a baltimore artist and would love to incorporate a couple shots from this footage.. is that okay?

  6. I wanted to fly my drone around Baltimore but I was wondering if I needed a license or some form of registration. My question for you is did you need any type of registration or certification to film this video? Thank you in advance.

  7. absolutely amazing! you have mad skills sir. Loved how the shots conjoined with the music all the way until the end.

  8. This is awesome! Did you take a lot of this footage early in the morning? Especially around the streets and buildings?
